Elite web surfers: the virtues of using the 'fox as opposed to Internet Explorer to surf away have been discussed many a time before - mainly to do with the many extensions you can add on to it to make it super useful. Yet to feature on the Poorhouse however is the number one essential reason to get it right now.
Two words: Stop and Hammertime.
Well, for far too long when that immense webpage full of a certain type of photographs has refused to download within the hour, you've had to reach for a dull red stop sign, X or other such tedious and predictable iconic representation of "stop" stuck at the top of your boring web browser. No longer!
Go download the Hammer Time extension by Benjamin Dodson. After installation, add the button to your toolbar (View -> Toolbars -> Customise). Then whenever your browser is next afflicted with endless downloading syndrome get your mouse and clickity-click the MC Hammer icon. Not only might your computer stop its bandwidth swallowing, but you will also hear your browser loudly announce the truth: that it is time to "STOP! HAMMERTIME!".
For any fools out there not aware of the deep significance of that time of day, here's a refresher. 1 minute 54 seconds in to be exact - but you might as well watch it all and get those dance moves perfected.
Oh, and repeated use of the Hammertime button will "endear" you to your immediate colleagues no end - and that's a Poorhouse promise.

Internet Explorer 7 is too unstable. Its barely usable
Internet Explorer 7 the latest incarnation of the Microsoft Browser is so unstable that I cant use it. Opening a new tab triggers a hang, sometimes opening your homepage triggers a hang, and don't mention opening a whole new window. Even though IE6 was unstable it was still better than this.
Now why does Microsoft support only IE7 on some of their own websites?!! Is it fair, to force us to use the substandard browser.
Firefox on the other hand is the bomb.

I totally agree. The fact that there are even pages that only work in IE is perhaps a little clue that it isn't quite the universally accessible and standards based browser it should be!
